POWERFUL VOICE * POWERFUL MESSAGE * POWERFUL EXPERIENCE

Enthusiasm, passion, honesty, inspiration, and wisdom greet you as you enter an empowering experience with Charles.

Charles H. Galbreath Jr., a rising star in the new generation of professional speakers, speaks directly to the hearts and the experiences (souls) of diverse audiences and individuals; student leaders, educators, mentors, business professionals, graduating classes, religious congregations, civic organizations, and government officials.

How far you go in life depends on your being tender with the young, compassionate with the aged, sympathetic with the striving, and tolerant of the weak and strong; because, some day in life you will have been all of these.
-- George Washington Carver
Preceding launching a fulltime career as an Empowerment Speaker and coach, Charles enjoyed a rewarding career with the Missouri Department of Social Services. As an Agency Trainer for the department, Charles conducted state-wide in-service trainings for new hires, upper management, supervisors, frontline workers, and support staff; strengthening employees' commitment to the department's mission, values, and goals.  This role of service earned him induction into the Cambridge Who's Who of Executives and Professionals.

Charles' commitment to the heartening field of Social Services began, as a Youth Specialist for the department's Division of Youth Services. This occupational experience required him to interact constructively and critically with 12-17 year old male juvenile offenders in a residential treatment facility.

Daily empowerment was a key ingredient as Charles strived to inspire these once delinquent young men to embrace principles of respect, responsiveness, accountability, and self worth. Charles helped many of his youth gain confidence and competence to successfully re-enter school, obtain a GED, or pursue higher educational, career or vocational goals.

Prior to his employment with the Missouri Department of Social Services, Charles worked in the federally-funded Upward Bound and Educational Talent Search programs; designed to assist high school and middle school students from disadvantaged families better understand their educational opportunities and options. This experience offered Charles great insight into the diverse needs of youth.

Charles earned a Masters of Science in Organizational Leadership from Mercy College in Dobbs Ferry, New York, and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing/Management from Tennessee State University in Nashville, Tennessee.
